Is there a more expensive place in the world to park?
Ok, I can kind of understand that the Corporation of Hamilton wants to discourage long-stay parking, but $81! Four hours and one second = $81!!!.
Has the rationale for this been explained anywhere? I’d really like to hear/read it.
Just in: an explanation. “It is the City’s hope that this car park be used as intended, for stays up to 3 hours and that the higher tariffs will serve as an incentive to do so. Motorists who stay within the 3 hour limit are not impacted in any way by the higher tariffs.”
OK, so they want short-stay only. Could have been handled better?
