John Barritt is right on so many counts – but the one that I am particularly interested in is the fact that this committee is meeting in secret.
It is another example of A Right to Know – and as regular readers know, I am an avid supporter of opening up as many meetings as possible to the press and public.
Decision-makers need to be held accountable and the only way for that to happen is access to information.
I hope those that support this concept do so loudly and regularly.
